Chef Adam Has been cooking in and around the rochester area for more than 10 years. Graduating from fingerlakes community college in 2015, adam soon saw himself cooking at some of the premier private clubs and restaurants.

Born in Rochester, NY, Chef Adam Pastecki always seemed to have positive food influences in his life. From his mother's fantastic cooking, to his grandfather's world famous barbeque hamburgers,...or that one time his father tried to grill bacon.
At young age Adam would take matters into his own hands; from ramen noodles to toaster strudels, his culinary talents seemed apparent.

Post high school, Adam took 12 years off from cooking. At the age of 30, he decided to unearth his former passion and went back to school, graduating from FLCC in 2016 as one of the oldest students in his class. From there, he went on to work at Cobblestone Creek Country Club, Char Steak and Lounge, and The Genesee Valley Club.
​
In 2018, Adam left his position at GVC to open up Locals Only in Rochester's East End District. Running the kitchen and day-to-day operations, he helped grow the highly instagrammable brunch/bar concept into a thriving business. After a 2 year stint with 'Locals, Adam moved on to work at Amazing Grains Bread Company, The Genesee Valley Club (again), Redd, Chef de Partie at Oak Hill Country Club. Adam is currently the Chef de Cuisine for RIT Catering at the Rochester Institute of Technology managing a talented team of chefs that cook for student groups, faculty groups, the presidents office, and VIPS.
